Ajikan 阿字観

Ajikan Meditation:

    Ajikan is an early Shingon meditation practice. Although is has many forms of varying complexity, it is focused on the sound, the form, and the meaning of the sanskrit syllable “A,” as a gateway to experiencing ultimate reality.

    This practice is used by beginners as well as advanced priests to deepen their experience of the universe.  Although this techniques seems simple, it provides rich diversity in experience, as one deepens their understanding.
